AS05; In this assignment, we were expected to design three distinct units using planar elements and apply various design operations. Unit 1 involved creating five rectangular planar elements arranged with orthogonal relationships to form a cohesive structure. For Unit 2, we were tasked with using three rectangular planar elements and applying a fold or cut-and-fold operation to at least one element, ensuring the fold angle was 30, 45, 60, or 90 degrees to introduce dynamic three-dimensionality. Unit 3 required us to create a variation of either Unit 1 or Unit 2 by applying transformations such as scaling, rotating, moving, stretching, or additional cut-and-fold operations to achieve a new interpretation. Finally, we defined a Group by combining the three units to explore diverse volumetric compositions and spatial relationships. During this process, we applied scale, move, and rotate operations to enhance the variety and interaction between the units.

We revised our designs four times to refine and improve them based on feedback, ensuring that the units and the group composition aligned with the assignment goals. Finally, we prepared a comprehensive revision of the work for the pre and final juris presentation.
