We went on a site visit to Konya to explore the rich and layered context of Sille, where natural and cultural landscapes have long intertwined. As part of our “Introduction to Architectural Design” studio, we were asked to observe and document the dam or cave site, focusing on spatial experiences shaped by movement, material, and human scale. Through this exploration, we began developing spatial scenarios that reflect the complexity of the place—where light and shadow, permanence and temporality, and bodily and visual interactions come together to form a unified field of experience.
