FINAL-JURY;
For the final jury presentation of the project titled "Riff," we delivered a comprehensive and refined submission, representing the culmination of all previous revisions and feedback. This final stage focused on integrating precision, craftsmanship, and clarity into every aspect of the project. The deliverables included:
Physical Model: A meticulously crafted model produced with the utmost precision and attention to detail.
Physical Models of 3 Unit Types and/or Groups: Models representing the unit types or their groupings, showcasing the relationships, articulations, and design strategies developed throughout the process.
Poster: A printed presentation that included the following components:
Design Operations Catalog: A detailed documentation of the operations used to define volumes at various levels of organization (units, groups, etc.), modeled digitally in Rhino.
Model Photographs: Black-and-white photographs with properly cleaned backgrounds. The photographs were economically presented in number and size, as the physical models were displayed alongside the posters. Organizational rules (such as axes) and strategic elements were highlighted to enhance understanding.
Strategy/Organizational Diagram: A digitally produced diagram illustrating the logic behind the organizational and relational strategies of the design.
Orthographic Drawings: Two views and one section with consistent line work and scale. Significant volumes were highlighted to emphasize key aspects of the design.
3D Axonometric Drawing: A detailed linework drawing highlighting strategic elements, operations, and volumes. A specific hinge point was zoomed in and enlarged two times to articulate its significance in the design.
3D Exploded Axonometric Drawing: An exploded view of grouped elements and volumes, presented in a shaded/rendered format with colored or contoured highlights. This drawing illustrated the organizational strategy and did not need to match the scale of the axonometric drawing.
Animation: A dynamic representation of the project, accessible via a QR code. The QR code was attached to the posters for easy access during the jury presentation.
This final jury served as the last revision of the project, incorporating all previous feedback and revisions. It represented our most refined understanding of the design articulations, organizational strategies, and overall presentation, bringing the project to a polished and professional conclusion.
